Product Description

     A Stainless Steel Sanitary Flanged Butterfly Valve is a specialized flow control device designed for industries with stringent hygiene requirements, such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, bioprocessing, and cosmetic manufacturing. It is constructed from stainless steel and features a specific design and surface finish to meet demanding standards for sterility, cleanability, and prevention of product contamination.

Basic Design:
 Consists of a valve body, a disc (vane), a stem, and sealing elements. The disc is rotated approximately 90 degrees by the stem to open or close the flow path.


Key Materials:
  Body/Disc/Stem: Typically made of 304, 316, or 316L stainless steel (corrosion-resistant, non-toxic).
 Seals: Made from FDA-compliant materials like Silicone (SI), EPDM, or PTFE (Teflon) to ensure compatibility with process media and withstand cleaning-in-place (CIP) and sterilization-in-place (SIP) processes.


Connection Type:
 Flanged Ends. Provides a secure, leak-proof connection that is easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning and maintenance.


Bore Size (DN):
 Wide range available, commonly from DN25 (1") to DN200 (8") or larger to suit various pipeline flow requirements.

Working Principle:

When the handle is rotated, the valve shaft rotates accordingly, thereby driving the valve disc to rotate. When the valve disc rotates to be parallel to the pipeline axis, the valve is in the open state, and the fluid in the pipeline can pass smoothly; when the valve disc rotates to be perpendicular to the pipeline axis, the valve is closed to prevent fluid flow, so as to realize the on-off control and flow regulation of the medium in the pipeline.
